The Man City man has had an operation and is now recovering from cruciate ligament injury
Mendy has now headed to Barcelona to begin his recovery, recently sharing gruesome photos of a huge scar on his knee following an operation.
But he was out and about at the weekend, wearing a blue and yellow t-shirt and shorts as he stood with the aid of crutches after exiting a chauffeured car at the rehabilitation centre in Spain.
The Frenchman smiled for photos but was also seen grimacing later on, perhaps feeling the frustration of the serious injury which put paid to his impressive start to life in the Premier League.

Manchester City fans had really taken to Mendy both on and off the field, as he complemented his performances on the pitch with a sense of humour on Twitter.
The 23-year-old played four times in the league before his injury, while Pep Guardiola will now have to rely on the likes of Danilo and Fabian Delph to plug the gaps.
Despite that, City will hope that the influence of respected surgeon Dr Ramon Cugat in Barcelona will enable Mendy to be fit and firing before the season is out.

The defender also posted a photo alongside his compatriot Georges-Kevin Nkoudou of Spurs
