Chelsea pair Cesc Fabregas and Marcos Alonso took advantage of the last knockings of the international break by enjoying a night out in Mayfair on Monday.

The Spaniards were not selected by their country for the final round of World Cup qualifiers, which saw La Roja confirm their place at Russia 2018.

And they made the most of their time off as they were spotted leaving Loulou's nightclub together with Fabregas' partner Daniella Semaan.

Loulou's is an exclusive multi-storey club built from a series of converted townhouses and located just off Park Lane.

The venue is frequented by a host of celebrities including Tom Cruise, Kate Moss and George Clooney, as well as Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Fabregas and Alonso may have missed out on Julen Lopetegui's squad but team-mate and compatriot Cesar Azpilicueta was called up.

The defender played the full match as Spain beat Israel 1-0 in their final group fixture - they had earlier confirmed qualification for the World Cup with a 3-0 win over Albania.

All three players are likely to be involved in club action as Chelsea get their Premier League campaign back underway on Saturday with a trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace.

Chelsea are looking to bounce back after a 1-0 defeat at home to Manchester City which proceeded the international break.

Antonio Conte's men have won four, drawn one and lost two of their opening seven Premier League games as they bid to defend their 2016-17 title.

The Blues will be without another Spaniard, Alvaro Morata, for the trip to Palace due to injury with Michy Batshuayi likely to step up in the striker's absence.

Roy Hodgson's Palace meanwhile sit bottom of the Premier League after enduring a disastrous start to the campaign.

The Eagles' 4-0 loss to Manchester United before the international break meant they became the first team in 129 years of the Football League to lose their first seven matches without scoring a single goal.
