Arsenal stars Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck use cryotherapy chamber ahead of Watford Premier League game: 'Dr. Freezing in the cryo'

  • Danny Welbeck, in particular, has been in excellent form in front of goal

Arsenal have been derided over the last few seasons for not having an ice-cool finisher in front of goal.

And while they have brought Alexandre Lacazette in this season to deal with that problem, Arsene Wenger could have two new options at hand to deal with the situation.

After all, two of his strikers, Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck, spent some of Thursday recovering in a cryotherapy chamber as they prepare for the return of the Premier League

Arsenal travel to Watford on Saturday evening and will be needing all of the stone cold goalscorers they have to overcome the high-flying Hornets.

The two England internationals will be hoping to help out, and Walcott posted an update on Instagram showing the duo ahead of that fixture.

They wore wooly hats and breathing apparatus after taking part in the session in the chamber, which is in-vogue across the top flight.

Walcott wrote as a caption: 'Dr. Freezing in the cryo with @DannyWelbeck' before adding a few snowflake emojis.

The Gunners have started the Premier League in positive fashion and are fifth after the opening seven games.

They have not lost any of their last four league games and managed to overcome Brighton at the Emirates prior to the international break.

Welbeck has been in impressive fashion in front of goal, scoring three times this campaign in the league.
