Andrey Arshavin is facing divorce from his wife after just one year of marriage partly due to having an alleged affair.
The former Arsenal man, who now plays for FC Kairat in Kazakhstan, married his wife Alisa back in September 2016.
However, it seems likely that their marriage is set to end quickly, with Alisa insisting that it was her decision to call it a day despite most people thinking it was the opposite.

Alisa told Russian magazine Starhit: 'Him cheating was only one of the reasons that pushed me to make such decision.
'Why would the entire country think that he will leave me with three children?
'That I am a completely unappreciated woman? I have an acquaintance that got re-married having four kids.'
Alisa also said she was splitting from the former Premier League star for the sake of her job and family life.

She added: 'Adult people do not fight. Adult people make decisions and leave...
'I did not leave him for someone else, this I would like to stress from the very beginning, I left due to the peculiarities of my job, so to say.'
The couple have a baby daughter called Esenya, who was born in February this year.
36-year-old Arshavin divorced his first wife Julia Baranovskaya back in 2013, after nine years of marriage and having three children.
