- Jesus has yet to lose in the league, cup or Europe with Manchester City
Gabriel Jesus has almost forgotten how it feels to lose after Manchester City's 2-1 victory against Napoli on Tuesday.
The Brazilian striker has now gone 26 club matches in official competitions without tasting defeat, having never lost in a City jersey.
You have to go back nearly a year to find the last time Jesus ended a competitive match on the losing side.
Gabriel Jesus scored on Tuesday night as Manchester City beat Napoli at the Etihad Stadium
His Palmeiras side lost 1-0 to Santos on October 29, 2016, with Joanthan Copete grabbing the only goal in the Brazilian Serie A clash.
At international level too, the 20-year-old has enjoyed constant success with Brazil since making his debut in September last year.
The Brazilian slotted home from six yards out to put the hosts 2-0 ahead in their clash
In 10 appearances for his country in World Cup qualifiers, Brazil have drawn just two, winning the other eight.
One reason for his success is undoubtedly his own talent in front of goal. Jesus scored seven times in his 10 international appearances as Brazil booked their place in Russia.
He has also grabbed 15 goals already for Pep Guardiola's side in just 22 matches. Fans at the Etihad Stadium will be hoping his goalscoring, and his unbeaten streak, continue for a time to come.
Jesus has not been on the losing side in an official match since Palmeiras lost to Santos in 2016
