That brings up the halfway stage of the Champions League

And it's looking very good for the Premier league sides, with Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur all top of their groups.

Celtic meanwhile have it all to do to reach the last-16 now though, having fallen three points behind Bayern Munich.

I'll leave you with the league tables following tonight's games but that's all from me here. Cheerio.

Elsewhere around Europe

Dimitri Oberlin doubles Basle's lead at CSKA Moscow, Angel di Maria chip has put PSG 4-0 up at Anderlecht and Dimitris Nikolaou has grabbed a headed consolation for Olympiacos at Barcelona.

21:29
It's been a night of Italian comebacks it seems...

Roma look like rescuing a point having been 2-0 down at Chelsea, but now Juventus have turned it around at home to Sporting Lisbon, with Mario Mandzukic converting Douglas Costa's cross to fire the Italian champions 2-1 ahead.

21:28
From OptaJoe
21:26
Chelsea 3-3 Roma

Dzeko goes close to a hat-trick, rising highest at the near post like a bully towering over his marker only to nod wide. Into the last 10 minutes and I'm no way convinced the scoring is done at Stamford Bridge.

21:24
Hidden among the goals at Stamford Bridge...

This rather ridiculous bandage the Chelsea medical team have forced Gary Cahill to wear

Gary Cahill of Chelsea needed treatment to his head during the clash with Roma
21:18
GOAL! CHELSEA 3-3 Roma

What a game at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea had been left stunned after Roma's three unanswered goals but they are back on level terms with a touch of class after Eden Hazard cushioned a header from a Pedro across into the bottom corner. It's a brilliant header.

21:12
GOAL! Chelsea 2-3 ROMA

The Premier League old boys team up! Tiemoue Bakayoko concedes a very clumsy free-kick on the edge of the box, and from the set-piece Kolarov crosses the ball for Edin Dzeko to glance home with his head. What a comeback!

Here was how Dzeko equalised only six minutes earlier:

21:12
Elsewhere around Europe...

Goals are flying in everywhere. PSG are now 3-0 up at Anderlecht with a Neymar free-kick struck under the wall, while Lucas Digne has given Barcelona the same scoreline advantage against Olympiacos.

21:09

An absolute goalkeeper howler gives the Red Devils the lead. More here.

21:06
GOAL! Chelsea 2-2 ROMA

Ah that is sensational! A high ball into the box drops over the shoulder of Edin Dzeko, but his technique is spot on as he lashes a volley past Thibaut Courtois to equalise for Roma  - who were 2-0 down earlier of course.

21:05
Lionel Messi doubles Barcelona's lead over Olympiacos

It's no use just threatening though, you need goals to back it up and Lionel Messi knows all about those with his 97th Champions League strike coming from a curling free-kick central to goal.

21:02
From Sportsmail's Pete Jenson at the Nou Camp

'Luis Suarez and referee Willy Collum have a bit of a 'chat' after Andres Iniesta is flattened and the referee does nothing.

'Olympiacos fans in good voice up in the gods. It's stopped raining on them and their team is starting threaten 10-man Barcelona.'

Barcelona's Gerard Pique is shown a red card by referee by referee Willy Collum
21:01
Chelsea 2-0 Roma

A change at the Bridge. David Luiz had picked up a knock in the first half and ten minutes into the second period he departs to make way for Pedro.

21:00
Chelsea 2-0 Roma

So nearly a Roma equaliser! Kolarov's low ball across the six-yard box is destined to be tapped home by Edin Dzeko only for Thiabut Courtois to get a vital foot to it to crucially deflect the ball away.

20:55
GOAL! BAYERN MUNICH 3-0 Celtic

It's going to be a long second half for Celtic, with Mats Hummels heading home for the German champions.

20:31
Gerard Pique sent off for Barcelona

From Sportsmail's Pete Jenson at the Nou Camp:

'Scottish ref Willy Collum sends Gerard Pique off for scoring with his hand on the goal-line. It was a second yellow after he had earlier pulled back Vadis Odidja. Barcelona in for a more difficult second half than they had anticipated.'

20:26
GOAL! Chelsea 2-1 ROMA

The 2-0 scoreline was rather harsh on Roma, who now have the goal they deserve after Aleksandar Kolarov kicks the ball past Cesar Azpilicueta before darting past the Chelsea defender.

From there the former Manchester City defender rifles a strike high past Thiabut Courtois.

20:26
So just the one game without a goal...

And once again it's Jose Mourinho's Manchester United. The Red Devils to their credit though are applying the pressure.

20:23
GOAL! CHELSEA 2-0 Roma

Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard link up, with the former's deflected cross towards the back post expertly stuck away on the half volley by the Belgian.

20:22
The chances keep racking up for Barcelona...

They may be leading Olympiacos, but the hosts are wasting quite a few chances. Luis Suarez is denied in a  one-on-one, while Paulinho has hit the crossbar with a header

Barcelona's Paulinho heads the ball over Olympiacos goalkeeper Silvio Proto but off the crossbar
20:18
Elsewhere across Europe...

A 23-yard free-kick from Miralem Pjanic sees Juventus equalise against Sporting Lisbon while Taulant Xhaka has opened the scoring for Basle at CSKA Moscow.

Igor AKinfeev's wait for a Champions League clean sheet goes on. It's 46 games and 11 years now in a streak only bettered by the Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

20:14
GOAL! BAYERN MUNICH 2-0 Celtic

That could be just about it for Celtic as Kingsley Coman dashes to the byline before his cross finds Josh Kimmich, whose looping header back across goal leaves Gordan rooted.

20:14
From Sportsmail's Pete Jenson at the Nou Camp

'Just as Barcelona supporters were cranking up their habitual 17 minute chant for Independence, Olympiacos put through their own net for the first goal of the night. Nikolaou the own-goal scorer. Could be a deluge now, to match the weather.'

20:06
Barcelona also edge ahead against Olympiacos

Top play from former Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu, whose first time volleyed cross is turned by Dimitris Nikolaou into his own goal.

20:02
GOAL! BAYERN MUNICH 1-0 Celtic

Celtic have defended well, but Bayern make the breakthrough. Lewandowski beats the offside trap to guide a header on target, but despite Craig Gordan making a good save, Thomas Muller is on hand to tap home.

19:59
It's getting worse for Italian teams too...

Because an Alex Sandro own goal, as comical as it was unfortunate due to its ricochet nature, has given Sporting Lisbon a surprise 1-0 lead at the Juventus Stadium.

19:56
GOAL! CHELSEA 1-0 Roma

Chelsea have started well and now after 10 minutes they have a goal to warrant the lead.

It's a fabulous strike too, with David Luiz latching on to a loose ball 25 yards out before curling home into the corner.

It's been a Brit alright in the Champions League lately

And that's not just because of Tuesday's trio of Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, and Liverpool all securing positive results.

It's going well for the British clubs all involved tonight too as I welcome you to Sportsmail's live coverage of all the UEFA Champions League action.

Sacrves marking Chelsea's clash with Roma go on sale before their Champions League clash

Chelsea have already made a stunning start to their Champions League campaign and look to make it three wins in as many games when they host Roma at Stamford Bridge.

Victories over Qarabag and Atletico Madrid leave them top of Group C and against Italian opposition a third victory on the bounce would leave them five points clear of the pack at the halfway stage.

Elsewhere Celtic make the trip to Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain travel to Anderlecht and Barcelona host Olympiacos on a night featuring seven 7.45pm BST kick-offs.
