Manchester United and Arsenal 'enquire about Barcelona's Jose Arnaiz' after winger's stunning debut goal

Manchester United and Arsenal have made an approach for Barcelona's Jose Arnaiz after the 22-year-old's impressive senior debut, according to reports in Spain.
Arnaiz scored on his first appearance for Barcelona on Tuesday night as he netted his side's third goal against Real Murcia with a stunning low drive from outside the box.
And Mundo Deportivo report Arnaiz's progress has been noted by United and Arsenal, who have both made approaches over his availability.

The Spanish outlet state Arnaiz's agent has been contacted by United, Arsenal and Bayern Munich, with the Premier League sides believing his style would be suited to playing England.
Bayern are reportedly interested in Arnaiz as a potential long-term replacement for 34-year-old star Franck Ribery, who is currently sidelined with a knee ligament injury.
Arnaiz has a £17.8million release clause in his Barcelona contract after joining the Catalan giants from second division side Real Valladoid in August.
Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde was full of praise for Arnaiz after his debut in the Copa del Rey clash, saying: ‘He has the goal in his head. I believed he could help us in this game and that it’s good for them [the B team players] to come and face a situation like this.

'He scored a great goal, he has a powerful shot. It’s a first step. He is already helping Barcelona B but we are not two teams.

Arnaiz alerted Barcelona's attention after impressing for Valladoid's first team, where he scored 12 times in 41 league appearances.
Barcelona beat Murcia 3-0 at the Estadio Nueva Condomina in the first leg of their round of 32 cup tie ahead of the return fixture at the Nou Camp on November 29.
The Catalan giants are back in La Liga action on Saturday when they travel to the San Mames stadium to face Athletic Bilbao.
