Key match stats (supplied by Opta)

Arsenal have won back to back league games against Swansea, they’ve only won three in a row versus the Swans once before, between November 1982 and September 2011.

Swansea have only failed to score in one of their previous eight league visits to Arsenal, drawing a blank in their first visit to the Emirates in September 2011.

Swansea City have won three times away at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League – only Chelsea have defeated Arsenal in the competition more often there (4).

Only Manchester United (four times) have come from a losing position to beat Arsenal in the Premier League more often than Swansea City (three times).

Swansea City have attempted just 18 shots on target and 72 shots overall this season in the Premier League – the fewest in the league. Spurs’ striker Harry Kane has attempted three more shots on target than Swansea on his own (21).

Theo Walcott struck twice as Arsenal defeated Swansea 3-2 at the Emirates Stadium a year ago

Alexandre Lacazette (five goals) is one of only five players to have scored five-plus goals in their opening nine Premier League appearances for Arsenal, after Alexis Sanchez (7), Andrey Arshavin (6), Ian Wright (6) and Davor Suker (5). The record by an Arsenal player in their first 10 Premier League appearances for the club is held by team-mate Sanchez (8).

This will be Arsene Wenger’s 800th Premier League game in charge of Arsenal – only Sir Alex Ferguson (810) has managed more games in the competition. He’s currently overseen 478 more English top-flight games (799) than Swansea themselves have played (321).

When Wenger took charge of his first Premier League game as Arsenal manager (October 12 1996), Arsenal were 3rd in the top-flight while Swansea City were 18th in the fourth tier and 86th in the English Football League system.

Olivier Giroud has been directly involved in five goals in seven Premier League starts against Swansea (three goals, two assists), although only one of those goal involvements has arrived on home soil (scored in March 2014).

Mesut Ozil created eight goalscoring chances against Everton last weekend – the most in a single Premier League game by a player this season. Since his Premier League debut in September 2013, he has the most assists (43) and has created the most chances (417) in the competition.

Tammy Abraham has scored the most goals (4), had the most shots (16) and recorded the most shots on target (7) of any Swansea City player this season.
