Key match stats (supplied by Opta)
Tottenham Hotspur have lost 20 of their 25 Premier League away trips to Old Trafford (W2 D3 L20) – their biggest tally of defeats away at any club in the competition.
Spurs - who beat Manchester United back in May 2017 - will be looking to record consecutive league victories against the Red Devils for the first time since April 1990.
In fact, Spurs won all three meetings against Manchester United in all competitions in 1989-90, with Gary Lineker scoring three of their four goals across those matches. This was only the second time Spurs have beaten the Red Devils three times in a single season (also 1981-82).
Manchester United have won their last five Premier League games at Old Trafford, keeping a clean sheet in each win – they last recorded six consecutive home league wins without conceding in March 2010 (run of seven).
In their last two games, Manchester United have scored one goal, attempted only four shots on target and have an xG total of 0.97. Spurs have faced those same opponents over the last three games (Huddersfield & Liverpool) and netted eight goals, had 13 shots on target and had an xG total of 3.62.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan's strike in the 29th minute was enough for Manchester United to beat Tottenham at Old Trafford last season
Mauricio Pochettino has lost more Premier League matches against Jose Mourinho (4) than he has versus any other manager in the competition.
This will be Marcus Rashford’s last Premier League game as a teenager (turns 20 on October 31st). Only Wayne Rooney (15) has scored more goals for United in the Premier League as a teenager than Rashford (13) and Rashford’s goal total is the 10th most by a teenager overall in Premier League history.
Harry Kane has scored 29 goals in 26 Premier League appearances in 2017 so far – just seven off the all-time Premier League record in a calendar year, set by Alan Shearer in 1995 (36 goals).
15 of Harry Kane’s 29 league goals in 2017 so far have come away from home – only two players have scored more Premier League goals on the road in a single calendar year; Sergio Aguero (17 in 2016) and Robin van Persie (19 in 2011).
Seven of Harry Kane’s league goals in 2017 have been assisted by Kieran Tripper, with the England striker netting exactly half of the chances (7/14) that the full-back has laid on for him in this period.
Romelu Lukaku has scored just 15 goals in 58 Premier League appearances against the ‘big six’ clubs – averaging a goal every 289 minutes.
