Sky Sports presenter Geoff Shreeves asked Mourinho: 'How does the dynamic change facing a Tottenham team without Harry Kane?'
He responded: 'How does the dynamic change without Ibrahimovic, Marcos Rojo, Michael Carrick, Paul Pogba, Marouane Fellaini...
'I meant in terms of how you face them today?' clarified Shreeves.
Mourinho fired back: 'Did you ask Mauricio the same question in relation to my players that are not playing?'
He asked if the same question had been put to Mauricio Pochettino about United's knocks
'I haven't interviewed him yet,' a cautious Shreeves replied.
Suggesting a topic to Shreeves, Mourinho said: 'Ask him how do you approach the game without Pogba, without Ibrahimovic, without Marcos Rojo, without Michael Carrick, ask the same question to Mauricio'.
The interview followed Mourinho's recent outburst over managers complaining about injuries. After Chelsea boss Antonio Conte discussed Chelsea's growing list of unavailable players, Mourinho said: 'I never speak about injuries. Other managers, they cry, they cry, they cry when a player is injured.
'If I wanted to moan I could cry like the others for five minutes; Ibrahimovic, Fellaini, Pogba, Rojo [injured].'
Mourinho mentioned the absent Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has been injured all season

And when those comments were put to Conte, he angrily replied: 'But do you think it was for me? If he is speaking about me, I think he has to think about his team and start looking at himself, not others.
'I think that a lot of time Mourinho has to see what happened at Chelsea. A lot of time, also last season. He has to think about his team.'
Spurs would climb above United into second place in the Premier League with a win at Old Trafford on Saturday.
