Alexis Sanchez has been getting into the Halloween spirit after the Arsenal forward was pictured sporting a thuggish mask for a fright-night party.

Sanchez, who has endured a tricky start to the season as rumours continue to circulate around his supposed imminent departure, took time to enjoy Halloween wearing what looks like a dressing gown, accompanied by a burglar's mask.

An odd choice of costume by the Chile international, but he definitely fitted the theme for a spooky Halloween evening.

Meanwhile, the Gunners have experienced some frights of their own this season with a heavy defeat by Liverpool as well as having to come from behind on numerous occasions, with Everton and Norwich the most recent examples.

Overturning a deficit is a trend we haven't consistently associated with an Arsene Wenger side in recent seasons but it seems Troy Deeney's comments about their passion rubbed off on the Gunners, who are unbeaten in their four games since the 2-1 defeat.

Sanchez though, has welcomed other factors as the source for some of their successes this season, namely summer arrival Sead Kolasinac.

Kolasinac, recently described as 'a brick toilet' by BBC's Garth Crooks, arrived at the Emirates Stadium in the summer from Schalke and featured in all but one of Arsenal's 10 Premier League games, scoring in the last against Swansea.

Speaking to Arsenal TV, Sanchez highlighted the Bosnian's ruthless determination both on match days and in training.

'It's tough (against him in training) because he's strong and he's hard to get around!' Alexis told Arsenal Player.

'He's a very experienced player and he's really strong. When it matters (in games), he finds me and makes good passes so I can score. He is an intelligent player who can create good goalscoring opportunities.

Kolasinac will be looking to continue his ruthless streak on the pitch as Arsenal look to secure early qualification into the last 32 of the Europa League with two games to spare against Red Star Belgrade on Thursday.

But team-mate Sanchez, feels he has little to prove after dominant displays in his early Gunners career.

'He's already demonstrated his quality. He's scored goals, provided assists and shown what he can do both in European and league games.'
