Liverpool are eyeing up a move for Real Madrid shot-stopper Keylor Navas, according to reports in Spain.
Jurgen Klopp is looking to sign a new goalkeeper to challenge Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius, who have both failed to convince as the Anfield No 1.
And according to Spanish paper Diario Gol, Liverpool are very interested in signing Costa Rica international Navas.
Spanish paper Diario Gol have linked Real Madrid's Keylor Navas with a move to Liverpool
Diario Gol claim that Madrid president Florentino Perez is still not convinced with Navas, who recently helped the Spanish giants win back-to-back Champions League titles and La Liga last season.
Navas could in fact be forced to look for a new club as Madrid still maintain interest in Manchester United's David de Gea and AC Milan's Gianluigi Donnarumma.
De Gea had been heavily linked with a move to the Bernabeu again this summer after Madrid saw a deadline day bid for the Spaniard collapse in 2015 because the paperwork was not submitted on time.
And highly talented Italian goalkeeper Donnarumma was also linked with a transfer before signing a new deal with Serie A outfit Milan.
Meanwhile, Navas will miss Madrid's Champions League clash with Tottenham on Wednesday night as he is currently nursing an abductor problem, which has seen him miss his side's last three games.
