Chelsea have been monitoring the situation of Lyon centre back Mouctar Diakhaby.
The 20-year-old 6ft 4ins defender has already attracted scouts from Manchester City and Juventus this season after impressing in Ligue 1 and during Lyon's Europa League campaign.
The France U21 international only broke into Lyon's first team last year and is gaining a reputation as a composed defender who is also a threat from set-pieces.

Diakhaby has featured four times for Lyon in Ligue 1 this season, as well as playing the full 90 minutes twice as the French side beat Everton both times in the Europa League group stage.
The French defender has helped guide Lyon to third place in the French top flight after 12 games.
He as also helped them qualify for the knockout stages of Europe's second-tier competition with two games to play.
Chelsea are considering a move for the young Frenchman as Antonio Conte looks to bolster his defensive options and he will be hoping to beat off stiff competition from Premier League leaders City.
