Silva is set to win his 66th cap when Brazil face Japan at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Friday evening, the home ground of French side Lille.

Neymar, Silva and Co then travel to Wembley for a glamour friendly against Gareth Southgate's England on Tuesday evening.

Brazil sealed their passage to Russia 2018 by finishing top of the South American qualifying section, with 12 wins, five draws and just one defeat from 18 matches.

Silva's PSG have made a strong start to the season following the big-money acquisitions of Neymar from Barcelona and Kylian Mbappe from Monaco.

The Ligue 1 side are unbeaten in their opening 12 matches and sit four points clear of Monaco at the top of the table. They have taken maximum points from their four Champions League group fixtures so far.

Marcelo's Madrid meanwhile find themselves eight points off leaders Barcelona following a disappointing start to their La Liga title defence.
