Jose Mourinho is ready to step up his pursuit of Tottenham left back Danny Rose in the January transfer window.
Manchester United have been tracking the England international over the last few seasons, and according to The Sun he would be 'interested in a move away'.
United hope they can lure the 27-year-old to Old Trafford as they continue their fight on four fronts and aim to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title.

Mourinho's side entered the international break second in the table but eight points adrift of the league leaders after a 1-0 defeat by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Rose voiced his displeasure at Spurs' transfer strategy in August and claimed he was 'worth more' than he was getting.
He said: 'I am not saying buy 10 players, I'd love to see two or three — and not players you have to Google and say, "Who's that?" I mean well-known players.
He added: 'Anyone who says we don't need any signings, I'm not buying into that.'

Mauricio Pochettino's side currently sit third in the table and have already qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League.
Though Rose would consider quitting Spurs for a lucrative move elsewhere, chairman Daniel Levy is determined not to sell to Premier League rivals.
A source said: 'It is not secret that Jose likes Rose. He is looking to make a move for him in January when the window opens.
'He could prove difficult to get though as Tottenham do not like dealing with United. It all depends on money at the end of the day.'
