The extent of Manchester City's celebrations after their dramatic 2-1 victory over Southampton has emerged on the club's YouTube channel. 

Raheem Sterling's injury-time winner maintained City's eight-point lead at the top of the Premier League over rivals Manchester United.

City's cameras caught the moment the players descended into the tunnel after the game on Wednesday night.

Captain Vincent Kompany didn't shout but had a large grin on his face as he came off the pitch

Manager Pep Guardiola, fresh from his energetic conversation with Saints winger Nathan Redmond, was the first from City's ranks to walk past the cameras and into the dressing room.

Guardiola barely reacts, clearing the path for the rest of his players to celebrate wildly.

Captain Vincent Kompany is little more reserved and simply walks by with a broad grin on his face. 

Gabriel Jesus, who follows behind City assistant Brian Kidd and Ilkay Gundogan with youngster Brahim Diaz, shouts 'yes' as he clenches his fists.

Goalkeeper Ederson, hearing the shouts of the City fans housed the other side of the glass tunnel, moves towards them and starts banging and shouting.

But the best is left to last. England international Sterling, who had been kept back for post-match interviews, walks down the tunnel, takes one look at the camera and shouts: 'Woooo.'

It nothing else, the footage gives an insight into the sheer exhilaration that can be felt after a last-minute winner.
