an exciting night of Carabao Cup action comes to an end. Manchester City and Arsenal progress to the semi-finals.
Join me tomorrow for Bristol City v Manchester United and Chelsea v Bournemouth.
3-4 - Mahrez's tame effort is saved by Bravo.
3-4 - Vardy goes to the right of Bravo and his shot hits the outside of the post and goes wide.
3-4 - very slow run-up but he scores. Over side of Hamer.
3-3 - confident from the youngster. Easily beats Hamer.
3-2 - calm again and past Bravo.
2-2 - calm penalty to the other side of Bravo.
1-2 - sends Hamer the wrong way. Good penalty.
1-1 - chips down the middle after Hamer had committed himself.
1-0 - stunning penalty. Bravo had no chance to his top left corner.
116min: Leicester believe they should have had another penalty. Vardy had got ahead of Danilo and the full back appeared to bring him down. No penalty given. 1-1 it remains.
114min: This isn't really the City we've got used to watching in the Premier League. Bravo has been forced into hoofing ball after ball forward which have rarely found a City player.
111min: Benalouane replaces Dragovic. A fresh pair of legs who might be able to cause City problems. This game really does look like it is hurtling towards penalties.
Laurie Whitwell at the King Power writes: Given the FA’s approach to Manuel Lanzini, it seems inevitable the governing body will look at Demarai Gray. The winger outstripped Kyle Walker to show his speed but City argued vehemently he went to ground too easily. Pep Guardiola mimicked a dive with his hands when going on the pitch at 90 minutes. City’s anger was exacerbated by referee Bobby Madley booking both Ilkay Gundogan and then Walker for simulation.
105min: City free kick as Harry Maguire is booked for a late challenge. Yaya Toure is standing over the ball along with Gundogan. It will be Yaya Toure to take... his right-footed effort produces a routine save from Hamer.
103min: Bravo takes a touch too many as Vardy closes him down within seconds. Bravo manages to kick the ball before it rebounds off the Leicester striker and goes out for a goal kick. Huge relief for City and Bravo.
100min: City's regular first team would have had no problem putting this Leicester side away. The trouble Guardiola has on nights like tonight is how to bed in his youngsters. The lack of understanding between Jesus and Zinchenko, for example, is clear to see as the latter plays a heavy ball forward that the striker can't control.
97min: Zinchenko is the man having to mark Mahrez and it really isn't proving easy for the youngster. Mahrez races past him before cutting the ball back onto his left and crossing in but no Leicester player is in a good enough position to make a save.
94min: A big scare for Manchester City. The ball was played over the top towards Okazaki. Walker looked to be in a good position to control the ball but slipped. Thankfully for him Okazaki couldn't get the ball under control and Walker was able to recover.
91min: Walker sprints down the right wing before getting the ball back to Jesus who can't get enough power on his shot and Hamer saves comfortably.
The Gunners progress to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.
Vardy places the ball to Bravo's right and it's 1-1. We're heading for extra-time.
Gray is clipped by Walker in the area and Leicester have a penalty with three minutes to go.
89min: This is what we've got used to watching this season. City are only 1-0 up but they look so comfortable. Walker, since coming on, has helped them organise in defence. Leicester don't look like getting an equaliser. I say that and Vardy just misses the ball coming into the City six-yard area. A big chance.
Meanwhile, Foden comes off for Tom Dele-Bashiru as Brahim Diaz is replaced by Lukas Nmecha.
Laurie Whitwell at the King Power writes: You can’t help but feel Claude Puel ought to have started Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez. Leicester are a much more potent attack with those two on the pitch and City would surely not have enjoyed as comfortable an opening half as they did. Had it not worked, they could always have come off to rest limbs. Puel’s plan seems the wrong way round.
81min: Mahrez does superbly to turn Zinchenko before playing in a brilliant cross that Vardy gets his head to ball but it goes wide. Mahrez then goes close himself as he cuts inside and produces a strong save from Bravo down to his left.
Meanwhile, Kyle Walker comes on for Mangala after the defender took a blow on the nose.
79min: Phil Foden is starting to show exactly what he can do. With the Leicester players tiring, Foden is starting to see more of the ball and is passing the ball about with a real calmness.
72min: Demarai Gray replaces Ben Chilwell as Leicester again try to find a spark they so badly need.
70min: Mangala heads behind after a good cross by Fuchs. The ball goes to the back post where Harry Maguire is waiting but he can't direct his header back across goal.
68min: City just starting to speed things up a little. The defence has been told to push up to stop Leicester getting numbers into their half. It's a tactic that is bringing them joy for now.
64min: City looking very organised at the back. Leicester have tried a number of ways to get behind the City backline but it simply hasn't happened with any great success. Mahrez is doing his best to find space with dynamic runs but really City haven't been troubled by him yet.
Meanwhile, Gundogan is booked for simulation.
Laurie Whitwell at the King Power Stadium: Sadio Mane must be feeling unluckier by the week. Sent off for a high boot on Ederson while chasing a high ball over his shoulder, Nicolas Otamendi escaped the same sanction for putting his laces into Harry Kane’s face in a much more predictable collision by the offender. Now Gabriel Jesus has booted Ben Chilwell in up the nose and nothing doing either. It could easily have been a Leicester penalty.
58min: The Leicester fans sense a way back into this game, as they chant 'Jamie Vardy's having a party.'
57min: Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez come on for Kelechi Iheanacho and Marc Albrighton. An attacking move by Claude Puel.
54min: Heavy collision between Jesus and Hamer after Dragovic tracked back to catch up with the Brazilian. The momentum of Jesus took him forward and he couldn't stop himself as he collided with the goalkeeper. Thankfully both are back to their feet and OK.
52min: Leicester have changed their approach. Puel's side have decided to go a little more direct in this second half. Ben Chilwell, the full back, has certainly adopted that approach well. He's just sprung off the ground to meet a header, only for it to go over the bar and Gabriel Jesus to catch him in the face with a boot.
49min: City in control from the off in the second half. Guardiola's side have slowed the game down but they must be careful not to dawdle on the ball too much. Gabriel Jesus a little guilty just now of putting in a late tackle on Harry Maguire.
Leicester have improved a little since City scored, as though they have finally remembered they are in a cup tie. Their best chance would appear to be when they break down either side. City don’t look that comfortable when they are stretched and goalkeeper Claudio Bravo is not happy under the high ball. I would not be surprised if we see Jamie Vardy before too long. If there is going to be a Leicester comeback, I would imagine he would be involved.
He writes: Leicester certainly upped the tempo in the latter part of that second half, and Ben Chilwell was central to much of that. Puel has elected to use the England Under-21 international at left wing but he is also coming in frequently to add to Leicester’s central options and that is causing City problems.
45min: Fuchs again puts the ball into the City box - a dangerous ball too - and Iborra tries to attack the ball from the six-yard box but Bravo does well to come and gather.
Cross played in by Debuchy and Welbeck puts past Hart. 1-0 Arsenal.
41min: Bravo's poor clearance falls right at the feet of Iheanacho outside the City box but he rushes his effort and it sails harmlessly over the bar.
39min: Christian Fuchs sends the ball in but Bravo does well to punch the ball away. Another corner. Fuchs again. Maguire heads the ball across to Iborra who heads wide (thankfully for him the whistle had already gone for a foul after a shove in the back by Maguire.
35min: Iheanacho so close to scoring the equaliser for Leicester. The ball came to him in the City penalty area but he couldn't sort his feet out quick enough to get the power required on his left-footed effort. Bravo makes a comfortable save down to his right.
Laurie Whitwell at the King Power writes: Claude Puel is showing his frustrations on the touchline but his decision to rotate his squad and leave out Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez has set the tone. It would have been intriguing to see Vardy rattling at Eliaquim Mangala and Tosin Adarabioyo because Kelechi Iheanancho is nothing like the same presence. The Nigerian striker is having a difficult evening against his former side.
31min: City are looking more dangerous with every attack. Bernardo Silva, fresh from his goal, wants another goal. The midfielder keeps coming forward with pace and can supply a fantastic ball. Jesus and him are linking up well.
Gabriel Jesus opens up Leicester's defence so easily after City broke on the counter attack. Jesus then played the ball to Bernardo Silva who places the ball underneath Hamer from inside the Leicester box. A blow for Leicester who had started to get a hold on this one.
Ian Ladyman at the King Power writes: Leicester goalkeeper Ben Hamer not exactly looking reliable here. He has already presented Bernardo Silva with a chance by dashing unnecessarily to the edge of his box for a ball he was never going to reach and has now made a complete mess of a routine save, touching an Ilkay Gundogan chip on to the crossbar when it actually looked as though it was going over the top anyway. No goals yet but City the better team by a distance. Leicester really quite lethargic.
22min: Iheanacho receives a yellow card for catching Bravo slightly late. The goalkeeper jumps out of the way but the striker catches him.
20min: Bernardo Silva plays it short to Gundogan. He gets the ball to Foden but his effort is deflected behind by Iborra. Another corner. Gundogan takes this time. Cross comes into the area but Adarabioyo's header goes wide after getting ahead of Fuchs.
17min: Ben Chilwell has started really well tonight. The full back just burst down the right before crossing into the City area only for Christian Fuchs to completely miss his header. That was definitely a chance for the Foxes to cause Guardiola's side a big problem.
13min: Foden's incredibly ambitious but was probably a bit over eager there. Bernardo Silva was lining up a shot when Foden tried to get in on the action... unfortunately he got in the way of Silva and City lose possession.
8min: Zinchenko has started well on the wide left for City. Daniel Amartey is doing a good job of containing him so far but the youngster is making some really clever runs.
6min: Yaya Toure back in the City side tonight and already having an impact. The experienced midfielder is dropping deep to protect the defence but also to help create attacks. Phil Foden is going to get a great lesson in controlling the midfield tonight.
3min: Adarabioyo comes to the rescue as it appeared Iheanacho would have a clear route to Bravo in the City goal. The City youngster keeps his composure and gets across to make a good challenge.
1min: The travelling City fans seem to be enjoying themselves as they poke fun at local rivals United. City having the majority of possession in the opening stages.
Ian Ladyman, who is covering Leicester v Man City tonight, writes: 'No surprise to see Man City rest players here tonight. This competition is fourth on their list of priorities this season. However, I must admit that I find the Leicester team a bit depressing.
'Claude Puel reached the final of the League Cup last season with Southampton and I would have thought he would have taken the opportunity to have a real go with a strong side tonight. As it is, he has fielded a side that looks almost like it is asking to be beaten. We will see.'
Stay with me for full coverage of Leicester v Manchester City and updates from Arsenal v West Ham.
Players like Phil Foden will get more opportunities if they continue to impress, according to City boss Pep Guardiola.
Foden is just one of four youngsters in the City side tonight against Leicester in the Carabao Cup.
'This is their chance to show what they can, for sure they will get more chances,' Guardiola said.

JAIME WRIGHT: Manchester City duo Ederson and Gabriel Jesus were sharing more than just a nationality and a train on their way to Leicester on Tuesday, boasting matching club hoodies too.
City, who have lost just once in 26 competitive games, made their way to the King Power Stadium ahead of their Carabao Cup quarter-final showdown with the Foxes where they hope to move one step closer to their first piece of silverware this season.
Accompanied by fellow countryman Danilo, it was clear the trio were occupying their own section of the train as they toyed with their enormous iPad's.
JACK BEZANTS: Manchester City duo Kevin De Bruyne and Nicolas Otamendi were making the most of a day off on Tuesday as they took their other halves out of an afternoon stroll.
Pep Guardiola has chosen to rest the duo for Tuesday's EFL Cup quarter-final against Leicester.
De Bruyne, who starred once again in City's 4-1 win over Tottenham on Saturday, was snapped in Hale village with his wife, Michele LaCroix.
CHRIS CUTMORE: As footballing fairytales go, Eddie Nketiah’s home debut for Arsenal was certainly deserving of the cliché.
Making his first appearance at the Emirates Stadium, the 18-year-old striker scored inside 15 seconds and then added an extra-time winner against Norwich in the Carabao Cup round of 16 in October.
Unfortunately for Nketiah, his club have a history of unearthing new heroes in this competition, only to bin them off before a mark has been made in the Premier League. But Arsenal are not alone.
Leicester City's players have arrived at the King Power Stadium ahead of tonight's clash with Manchester City.
Tonight sees the return of the Carabao Cup. It is quarter-final action as Leicester City take on Manchester City, while Arsenal host West Ham.
A place in the semi-finals awaits the winner of each tie before tomorrow night's games.
