Crystal Palace are speaking to Lille about a deal for their versatile defender Ibrahim Amadou.
The 24-year-old, who is equally comfortable as a defensive midfielder, has been watched by a number of Premier League sides, including Arsenal over the past year.
Palace have Scott Dann out for the season with knee ligament damage and desperately need to bolster their squad.

Lille want £16million for the former France U19 international but may be open to an initial loan with view to full payment in the summer.
Palace made enquiries about Amadou last January and have maintained a watching brief on his performances.
Southampton and Stoke City have also shown interest in Amadou recently while Newcastle and Watford have been made aware of his potential.
