It's safe to say Manchester United fans are certainly excited about Alexis Sanchez's imminent arrival — so much so that they're already buying his scarves.

But avid United followers haven't wasted any time in celebrating the stunning move, and were keen to show off their support outside Old Trafford.

A scarf-seller was seen outside the Theatre of Dreams, and had a particular design which Red Devils fans were intent on getting their hands on as soon as possible.
Sanchez's face was emblazoned on the scarf, with the words 'United and Chile' making it clear who the Chilean will now ply his trade for.
Three buyers showed off their latest purchase in the snowy Manchester conditions on Sunday while waiting for their club to confirm the move.
The Chile forward, 29, will become the club's best-paid player on almost £600,000 a week — a basic wage of £350,000, £100,000 image rights and £144,000 in bonuses.

Sanchez must wait for the Home Office to update his work permit on Monday, as will Mkhitaryan before he completes the swap with his move to Arsenal.
Sanchez took a private jet to Manchester at midday on Sunday from Kent's Biggin Hill airport, before arriving at United's training ground at 1.35pm for a series of tests. He left for his city centre hotel at 6.15pm.

Mkhitaryan has had his medical at Arsenal, who also aim to seal a deal for Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on Monday.
United manager Jose Mourinho revealed on Saturday that the deal was 'close' and an announcement is expected in the next 24 hours.
'I expect soon, or never,' Mourinho said. 'I think it is so close. So close. I am positive. I know that my people are doing absolutely everything they can.
'The owners with the green light, I think everybody is doing everything they can. I think we are going to be successful.'
