Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has spoken very highly of Alexis Sanchez following his departure to Manchester United, claiming the Chilean stayed 'committed until the last minute'.
Sanchez was officially announced as a United player on Monday evening, with the forward joining in a deal worth a staggering £600,000 a week.
The 29-year-old has switched from the Emirates to Old Trafford with Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan moving in the opposite direction.

Sanchez, whose Arsenal contract was set to expire at the end of the season, was heavily linked with moves away from the club since the beginning of last summer but Wenger said he never let that distract him.
Wenger told Arsenal's official website: 'He's a very professional player who has been committed until the last minute,' Wenger told Arsenal Player.
'In training, he was practising with full power, so I never questioned that. I never had any doubts about that.
'He's a world-class player who has contributed well to us and was a star here. I would like to thank him for his contribution here and I wish him well.

'He's very attached to Arsenal and we were very attached to him as well, so it is not with pleasure that we lose him but it's part of professional life.'
Sanchez scored 80 goals in 166 appearances during his time with the Gunners and he was part of two FA Cup-winning squads in 2015 and 2017, scoring in both finals.
Sanchez could make his United debut away against Yeovil in the FA Cup on Friday night.
If not then, Sanchez's first appearance as a United player could be against Arsenal's north London rivals Tottenham at Wembley in the Premier League on January 31.
