DONE DEAL: Cesc Fabregas has joined Chelsea from Barcelona [GETTY]

The former Gunners star signed for the West London club from Barcelona earlier this week, and then found himself inundated with foul-mouthed tweets.

Fabregas infuriated many Arsenal followers by penning a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge, with online trolls going as far as to tell Fabregas they hope he breaks his leg during his World Cup campaign with Spain.

Typical of the comments made, one fan wrote on Twitter: “Hi Cesc. I hope you break both of your legs you lying turncoat ****!”
