WANTED: Jose Mourinho is looking for a new striker to work with Diego Costa [GETTY]

The Blues have made a £16m bid for Fenerbahce striker Emmanuel Emenike.

Chelsea are actively seeking a new strike partner for incoming frontman Diego Costa, after Jose Mourinho was left less than impressed by Fernando Torres and Demba Ba last season.

Emenike enjoyed a good domestic season with the Turkish outfit, scoring 12 goals and providing nine assists and has proved a vital player for Nigeria at the World Cup.

Jose Mourinho is hoping his new look Chelsea side can become the Premier League's top dogs next season.

Mourinho is positive the time is right to bring about these changes at Chelsea.

"After 10 years of titles and great moments, this is a moment to rebuild again, because teams don't last for ever," Mourinho said.

Chelsea outcast Marko Marin could be set for a return to the Bundesliga after Frankfurt revealed their interest in the player.

Marin has no future at Stamford Bridge and has been linked with a move to former club Werder Bremen this summer.

He spent last season on loan at Europa League winners Sevilla, and admitted recently that he does not expect to stay in west London.

Diego Poyet looks set for a move to the Premier League after rejecting a new contract with current club Charlton.

He burst onto the first-team scene at The Valley in the second half of the 2013-14 season and wowed supporters so much he was named player of the season.

However, he has decided against extending his stay in south London, and now looks set for a switch to his father's former club Chelsea, or Premier League champions Manchester City.
