Man United boss Jose Mourinho praised his players after their Arsenal draw

The Red Devils were stunned at Old Trafford this afternoon when Olivier Giroud netted an 88th minute equaliser.

Arsenal were shocking all day but were rescued at the death thanks to the France international.

And Mourinho has had his say on Arsenal's late goal, claiming his players did all they could.

"The players are quiet. They feel like it is a defeat and they are very disappointed," Mourinho told MUTV.

"But I told them, the worse feeling is when you are upset with yourself because you didn’t perform or you made big mistakes, but they cannot have that feeling.

"They have to be proud with what they did, but obviously they are very disappointed because we lost two points against a very good team that did not have a shot [on target]."

Should Man United have had a penalty?

Mourinho, who says his side are the unluckiest team in the Premier League, could have been awarded a penalty in the first-half after Nacho Monreal appeared to foul Antonio Valencia.

However, referee Andre Marriner ignored the appeals much to the frustration of the Portuguese boss.
