Tiemoue Bakayoko has sent tongues wagging this morning as his move to Chelsea edges closer.

Starsport understand the French midfielder will have a medical with the Blues today ahead of a £40m transfer.

Bakayoko's next move now looks certain - but that's not stopped him having a bit of fun today.

The Monaco man has dropped a series of conflicting hints and messages on social media.

First up Bakayoko wrote ‘Good Morning’ on Twitter followed by emojis of London beefeaters and Union Jack flags - but with his location set as Manchester, not London.

He then tweeted red and white circles and love hearts - again with the location set as Manchester - rather than blue emojis with a London setting.

Bakayoko also followed Man Utd pair Marcus Rashford and Eric Bailly on Twitter, before swiftly unfollowing.

He also follows Willian and David Luiz, the Chelsea players, on the social networking site.

Nemanja Matic wants his future sorted this weekend.

The Blues midfielder is set for a Stamford Bridge exit when Bakayoko finally puts pen to paper.

Man Utd are keen on a £40m deal for the Serb, and hope any bad blood caused by their swoop for Romelu Lukaku has passed.

Inter Milan are also keen on Matic, but he's up for a reunion with Jose Mourinho, Mail Online report.

United are able to offer Matic a healthier financial package than Chelsea, which appeals to the 28-year-old.

Barcelona are after Cesar Azpilicueta after giving up on landing Arsenal's Hector Bellerin.

Bellerin was the Spanish club's first choice in their hunt for a new right-back.

But they've now been forced to look elsewhere after Arsenal refused to sell.

The Mirror say Azpilicueta is now the man Barcelona are looking at as they bid to solve their defensive issue.
