Starsport understands Jose Mourinho is keen to land the Serbia international, with the Manchester United boss desperate for a holding midfielder.

Chelsea yesterday signed Monaco star Tiemoue Bakayoko in a £40m deal ahead of the Red Devils, who is an ideal replacement for Matic.

And according to The Sun, Matic is desperate for a reunion with Mourinho at United.

They say the 28-year-old has even told Cheslea to sort his future within 48 hours.

Matic has been told he can leave the Blues this summer for £40m following Bakayoko's arrival.

The Sun add that Chelsea would prefer to sell him to Juventus ahead of United and Arsenal, who are both keen on the midfield powerhouse.

However, Matic has his heart set on a reunion with Mourinho at Old Trafford.

The Sun say Juve are willing to offer the former Benfica man a three-year deal but United are open to handing Matic a four-year contract worth £150,000-a-week.

Matic has been left out of Chelsea's pre-season tour of Asia - along with Diego Costa - to resolve his future.
