Reports this week suggested the superstar Swede will reject an offer from LA Galaxy in hope of landing a deal with the Red Devils.

Ibrahimovic will train at Carrington when he recovers from his knee ligament injury.

The 35-year-old hopes to return before Christmas and plans to impress again under Jose Mourinho, who released him last month.

And BetStars say Ibrahimovic will be back at Old Trafford next season if he can prove his fitness to Mourinho.

BetStars Director of Trading Ian Marmion said: “After being linked with lucrative moves to the MLS and Chinese Super League, it seems remaining at Old Trafford is the most likely outcome to the Zlatan Ibrahimovic summer saga.

“We price the big Swede, who is recuperating from a knee injury suffered in April, odds-on at 1/2 to appear for Manchester United next season.

“The Red Devils recently bolstered their attacking options with the purchase of Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, but Mourinho is believed to be keen to keep Ibra, who hit 17 league goals last term, at the club if he can prove his fitness.

“He could be handed a short-term contract after the season has kicked off.”

Mourinho has already landed Everton hitman Lukaku this season in a £75m deal.
