The Gunners signed the 26-year-old France star from Lyon for £52m earlier this summer.

Lacazette has impressed since making the switch and scored his first Emirates goal in yesterday's 2-1 pre-season defeat to Sevilla.

The striker admits life in north London is completely different to what he has been used to before.

But he insists he has now found what he wants by joining Arsene Wenger's ranks.

Lacazette said: "Everything has changed. I felt that I was entering a new world.

Alexandre Lacazette says joining Arsenal has been like 'entering a new world'

"In terms of the players, the technical staff, the football - everything is different.

"That’s what I was looking for. It is I who needs to adapt as soon as possible. Everything is different. It’s bigger, goes faster, stronger - it’s good.

"It’s a great league with lots of teams. In my opinion there is no small team.

"Even against the smallest one it’s not always easy. I can’t wait to see how the season goes."

Wenger is excited to see what Lacazette can do next season and believes he'll definitely score goals for Arsenal.

He said: "He has a very strong record in scoring goals and that comes from the fact that he is in the right positions in the box and anticipates well.

"Overall, that is a very important quality that will be needed throughout the season."
