At least that’s the verdict of The Independent’s Miguel Delaney, who claims Jose Mourinho is poised to pay £25m for the Ivory Coast international.

Aurier has spent the past three years on the books at the Parc des Princes after moving to the French capital from Toulouse on an initial loan deal.

During his time with PSG he’s won two Ligue 1 titles, three Coupe de la Ligues, a trio of Coupe de Frances and the Trophee des Champions on three occasions.

Aurier’s courted controversy there too though, falling out with former boss Laurent Blanc and getting arrested last year for a clash with a police officer.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has been linked with a summer move for Serge Aurier

The right-back’s been linked with a move to England ever since he established himself at PSG.

And Delaney seems to think United are set to take the plunge and bring him to the Premier League.

On Twitter, a fan asked him: "Any truth in this Aurier to @ManUtd rumour Miguel? Lots of facts about the deal out there…"

Miguel Delaney claimed on Twitter that Serge Aurier is on the way to Manchester United

And he replied: "Yeah. it's true, should happen pending Visa issues, 25m."

Aurier’s potential arrival would likely bring an end to Antonio Valencia’s spell as United’s first choice on the right side of defence.

The Old Trafford stalwart has impressed in that position since Mourinho replaced Louis Van Gaal as Red Devils gaffer last summer.
