That’s the verdict of Italian journalist Giorgio Micheletti, who mentioned the potential deal in an interview with Tutto Mercato Web Radio.

Micheletti has now revealed how former United player Angel Di Maria’s potential move to Inter could pave the way for Mourinho to get his man though.
He told Tutto Mercato Web Radio: "For a while he has promised to Inter. It would be an interesting purchase and would increase the quality of the Nerazzurri.
"Although his arrival could free up Perisic to head to Manchester United."
Aside from Perisic, Gareth Bale is thought to be on Mourinho’s radar as he goes in search of a new winger.
The Welshman, 28, has won eight trophies since joining Real Madrid from Tottenham four years ago.
However, his future at the Bernabeu is uncertain with Florentino Perez pondering a raid on Monaco for Kylian Mbappe.
