Everton are edging towards finally sealing a deal for Swansea star Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Sigurdsson is rated at £50m by Swansea.

And The Times say talks have reopened between the two clubs over striking a deal.

Ronald Koeman wants Sigurdsson on board by the star of next week.

Everton kick-off their Premier League campaign at home to Stoke in seven days time and the Icelandic midfielder is wanted in place before preperations for the game ramp up a gear.

Bolton have signed Antonee Robinson on loan from the Toffees.

Robinson, who plays left-back, has moved to the Championship club on a deal until January.

Robinson said: “As soon as I heard about the opportunity to come to Bolton Wanderers I was buzzing.

“The chance to pay at such a high profile club is one that I’m relishing.

"It’s my first loan move so it will be a big step up but it’s a challenge I am ready for.”

Watford are keen on Everton winger Aaron Lennon.

Lennon was wanted by the Hornets on a loan deal, report The Sun.

But Everton are only interested in a permanent transfer for the England international.

Lennon joined the Toffees on loan in January 2015 before making the move permanent at the start of the following season.
