Real Madrid have set an asking price for Gareth Bale.

Bernabeu bigwig Florentino Perez is demanding £90.5m (€100m) for his signature, according to Spanish outlet Diario Gol.

Perez wants to sell Bale in order to fund a move for Monaco sensation Kylian Mbappe.

Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in Bale but neither fancy paying more than £72m (€80m).

The Premier League champions are eager to beat United to the Welsh wizard.

However, both clubs believe Bale's poor form and injury problems last term has slashed his value.

Meanwhile, it has been claimed that United have held talks with Barcelona star Sergi Roberto.

It was reported yesterday that the Red Devils had made a £36m (€40m) bid for the Spain international.

And, according to Diario Gol, they are one of three clubs to contact Roberto.

The right-back/midfielder has also listened to offers from Chelsea and Manchester City.

Roberto fancies staying at the Nou Camp on the promise of more first-team football.

But his future has been complicated by the signing of right-back Nelson Semedo from Benfica.

Jose Mourinho is interested in Tottenham left-back Danny Rose

Jose Mourinho has reignited his interest in Danny Rose.

According to the Independent, the Tottenham defender is back on his radar after struggling to land deals for Ivan Perisic and Bale.

Inter Milan are sticking with their £48m asking price for Perisic while Bale fancies another season at Real.

Failing to sign a winger has led Mourinho to consider using a three-man defence this season and signing Rose to feature at wing-back.

Tottenham are reluctant to sell another star man but United believe Daniel Levy could cut a deal.

Inter Milan are also interested in Rose.
