Tottenham star Dele Alli would join Premier League champions Chelsea.

That’s the verdict of Dean Saunders, who named the midfielder when talkSPORT host Alan Brazil asked who could make Antonio Conte’s squad better: "Dele Alli - and I think he would move to Chelsea. Then there's Virgil Van Dijk and Harry Kane."

And when Brazil challenged his incredible claim, Saunders disgreed and replied: "Them two players [Alli and Kane] would improve any team."

Saunders’ outburst comes a couple of weeks after Conte admitted he’d love to have Alli's team-mate Kane at Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, Betfair have cut the odds of Chelsea being Danny Rose’s next club.

Sky Sports claim the left-back is interested in joining the Blues if Tottenham allow him to leave this summer.

And Betfair now have Chelsea at 5/1 to get Rose before September 1 - down from 11/2 this morning.

Manchester United, meanwhile, are priced at 11/8 to secure the 27-year-old’s services by deadline day.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is on the lookout for new recruits

Finally, Newcastle are set to sign Kenedy on loan from Chelsea.

The Brazilian winger does not feature in Conte’s plans for the upcoming campaign.

And Starsport understands he’ll swap west London for Tyneside for the next 12 months.

Kenedy will join former Chelsea wideman Christian Atsu at St. James’ Park if the deal goes through.
