Paul Pogba and summer signing Nemanja Matic paired up in the middle of the park and impressed as United thrashed West Ham 4-0 yesterday.
Jenas was full of praise for the duo, and thinks their top flight rivals are in big trouble if Matic and Pogba keep it up for the rest of the season.
“I thought Matic was the standout performer, he was immense,” the former Tottenham man said on Match of the Day 2.
“They (Matic and Pogba) were unbelievable, dynamic all across the park.
“Matic was all over the place - in a good way. He’s got such confidence to do whatever he wants.
“It freed up Pogba, he played a little bit higher up the pitch.
“He’s a big lad (Pogba), imposing and with great feet. It looked dangerous at all times.”
Jenas added: “If this is sign of things to come from Mourinho and this midfield partnership then the rest of the Premier League should be running scared.
“Both of them were so powerful and immense.”
