That is the verdict of Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera, who believes the Gunners must bounce back from last season's fifth-place finish in the Premier League table.
Herrera revealed his thoughts on Lacazette when he was asked by the Mirror about their hopes in the title race.
He said: "Arsenal will need a reaction after missing out on the Champions League last season and Alexandre Lacazette is a good signing, so let’s see."
Lacazette opened his account with a goal inside two minutes of Arsenal's 4-3 win against Leicester.
However, Herrera is unconvinced the Gunners will be in the shakeup.
“I don’t see many changes in the title race – Chelsea, City, Spurs, Liverpool and us,” he said.
Despite finishing sixth last season, Herrera is backing Jose Mourinho to guide United to the summit.
He told the Mirror: “If you’re looking for a favourite for the title, then I would back United.
“The race will be very open and the key for me is to avoid defeats at home and to start the season with a run of victories to prove we are contenders.
“Just looking at statistics and at the squad, you can say that Manchester United is a candidate for the title – but we need to demonstrate it on the pitch.”
