Barcelona have reportedly launched a stunning £118m offer for Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho.

La Liga giants Barca are working hard to secure a replacement for Neymar following his record-smashing move to Paris St-Germain.

Goal claim the Catalans are willing to spend big to land his Brazilian compatriot Coutinho.

And they have reportedly tabled a mega €130m bid for the 25-year-old superstar.

Borussia Dortmund's American ace Christian Pulisic has dealt a blow to Liverpool by insisting he is happy in Germany.

Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of the 18-year-old but the midfielder has no plans on leaving Dortmund.

Asked about interest from Liverpool, Pulisic told Sportbild: "Yes, I read that too. What more can I say? I concentrate fully on the start of the season.

"I'm very happy in Dortmund. I do not think about a club change. I extended my contract until the beginning of the year until 2020."

Southampton chairman Ralph Krueger is adamant that top Liverpool target Virgil van Dijk will not leave this summer.

Krueger said: "Virgil is not for sale in this window and it's not personal. It's not about him, it's about an overall much, much, much bigger picture - a change of course for Southampton.

"That's one player in this whole equation of 25 and it is the visible one, but for us it's the principle and it's the path and it's the statement we need to make to get to a new space as a club.

"We are very, very adamant about carrying this through."
