The Austrian completed a move to West Ham this summer for a club record £25m.

But he ruffled feathers at Stoke after claiming the East London club were more ambitious and that’s why he left.

The Potters delivered the perfect response when they announced their new signing Jese today (August 16).

They released an announcement video that started with a screenshot of Arnautovic’s comments.

Stoke hit back at MArko Arnautovic with their video announcing Jese Rodriguez's signing

The clip then moves to a dictionary definition of ambition.

It then produces a series of impressive stats about Jese – including winning La Liga, the Copa del Rey and two Champions Leagues.

Finally we get to see the man himself in his Stoke kit at the club.

They tweeted the video with the message: ”We all need a bit of inspiration halfway through the working week.

“We think this tweet will excite you all!”

Jess’s signing means Stoke now have five Champions League winners in their squad, the most in the Premier League.

The others are Bojan, Xherdan Shaqiri, Ibrahim Afellay and Darren Fletcher.
