Luke Shaw could leave Man Utd this summer

Jose Mourinho is ready to offload Luke Shaw to raise funds for another left-back.

That's according to the Daily Record who reckon the Portuguese wants a Champions League quality replacement.

Shaw has struggled to establish himself as a first-team regular at Old Trafford.

He was sanpped up from Southampton for £30m in 2014.

Shay Given thought David De Gea would quit Manchester United for Real Madrid this summer.

“I felt this summer he might go,” former Newcastle keeper Given said on Sky Sports.

“They always sign a Galactico every summer.

“I’m still not sure about the Real Madrid goalkeeper.

“David De Gea would be the perfect replacement for him.

“To get a title challenge on, it’s vitally important that they keep David De Gea at the club.

“There’s not too many noises coming out of the David De Gea camp that he wants to move.”

Lionel Messi has told Barcelona they must not let Sergi Roberto leave the club.

Roberto has been linked with a move to United and Chelsea.

He also has a tantalising £37.5m release clause.

But according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Messi has demanded no more first-team stars leave the club.

Barca have already sold Neymar to Paris St-Germain for a world-record £199m fee.

And Messi has reportedly informed Ernesto Valverde that the squad cannot be weakened any further.
