Leicester injury news: Jamie Vardy is set to be fit to face Manchester United

The England striker limped out of the 2-0 win over Brighton with an ankle injury that left boss Craig Shakespeare sweating over the weekend.

But Vardy has been given the all-clear and will play some part in tomorrow's Carabao Cup clash at Sheffield United.

The 30-year-old will get a run out after training today with no reaction.

Shakespeare said: “He was sore on Sunday but he’s okay. He will be involved.

“Taking him off was a precaution to a certain extent. It was more of a nerve thing than a kick.

“Once we released the nerve it eased up and I’m happy to say that he’s fine now.”

But the Foxes’ boss isn’t going into the games without casualties. Danny Drinkwater(thigh), Kelechi Iheanacho(toe), Robert Huth(ankle) and Wes Morgan(back) are all ruled out.
