Alexis Sanchez will leave Arsenal for Manchester City before the transfer window closes, according to Richard Keys.

Writing in his personal blog, he explained: “Before the season started we posed the question here 'how long before Arsenal fans start calling for Wenger to go'?

“Unless something dramatically changes - and I mean dramatically - it won't be long now. That performance at Stoke could've come from any of the last ten seasons.

“Would Sanchez have made much of a difference? Yes, I believe he would, but what kind of Sanchez are Arsenal going to be playing if he doesn't get his move to City?

“Like Coutinho, who Liverpool will insist they won't sell, they'll have the player in a physical sense, but not mentally.

“My view is the deal with City eventually gets done. If they come back with £70-£75m for a player in the last year of his contract The Gunners would be mad not to take it.”

Arsenal are waiting to see if Inter Milan table a £35m bid for defender Shkodran Mustafi.

The Gunners rejected a loan offer from the Italian side last week.

But Starsport understands the Premier League giants could be open to a sale if Inter offer up the £35m Arsenal paid to sign the German international from Valencia last summer.

Mustafi is a first-team regular for the club and starred alongside Laurent Koscielny for most of last season.

However the 25-year-old has struggled to bond with some of his team-mates, making a sale possible for the Germany international.

Alexis Sanchez to Man City: Could Arsenal get Sergio Aguero in return?

Gunners duo Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Bramall are off to Birmingham on loan.

Arsenal are eager to trim their squad and Jenkinson and Bramall are both free to leave.

And Birmingham boss Harry Redknapp has made his mark by snapping up the pair, report The Mirror.

Jenkinson and Bramall are both heading to the Midlands on season-long loan deals.

Redknapp is eager to bolster his squad ahead of a drive to make the play-offs this term.
