Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho is wanted by Barcelona

That’s according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo who say Bartomeu will personally discuss the players at the Champions League draw in Monaco.

Coutinho has emerged as Barcelona’s top target following the world-record sale of Neymar to Paris St-Germain two weeks ago.

The 25-year-old handed in a transfer request - which was rejected by Liverpool chiefs - in a bid to force through a move.

Fenway Sports Group (FSG) have knocked back offers worth £72m, £90m and £118m from Barcelona for Coutinho.

Speaking after Liverpool's 1-0 win against Crystal Palace on Saturday, Jurgen Klopp admitted Coutinho's future was out of his hands.

He said: "It is the decision of the club, I think there is no doubt about that.

"It's not my decision, I'm the manager of the football team so when players are available, I coach them, and that is how it is.

"At the moment Phil is not available, but you can imagine missing Philippe Coutinho would be a big blow for each team in the world, so it is for us.

"But it's the situation so I cannot change it, and whatever I would say cannot change it."

Dembele, 20, was only signed from Rennes 12 months ago for around £14m.

But since moving to the Bundesliga he’s impressed with six goals in 32 appearances.

Dortmund are expected to request a significant return on their investment, though.

The Bundesliga giants want around £90m to part with their star man.
