Tottenham star Dele Alli fancies a move to Barcelona

That’s according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon who reckon the England international fancies a move to Catalonia.

Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Chelsea have all been sniffing around.

But Spurs have slapped a mammoth £139m asking price on his head which has put off potential suitors.

Don Balon say Alli was hoping Barca would swoop for him following Neymar’s departure to Paris St-Germain.

However, the La Liga heavyweights have opted to pursue Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho.

Despite the snub, Don Balon claim Alli is still hopeful Barca boss Ernesto Valverde will sanction a late raid.

Alli, 21, has flourished since moving to Tottenham from MK Dons in 2015.

He's bagged 28 goals in 70 games for the north Londoners.

Mauricio Pochettino will be very reluctant to part with his prized asset, though.

The Argentine chief has already lost one of last season's first-team stars this summer.

Kyle Walker joined Manchester City in a deal worth around £52m last month.

Spurs have only made two signing this summer.

Davinson Sanchez and Paulo Gazzaniga have both been drafted in.
