And Romelu Lukaku blew the chance to put Manchester United ahead in the 52nd minute after his penalty was saved by Kasper Schmeichel.
But Marcus Rashford found the back of the net not long after, before substitute Marouane Fellaini scored a second in the 82nd minute.
It was another solid win for the Red Devils, who top the Premier League table after the first three matches.
