Jonny Evans has told West Brom fans he’s not even thinking about Man City

City have had one £18m bid to land the Albion skipper knocked back and are expected to come in again.

West Brom value the 29-year-old at nearer £30m and insist they won’t let him go unless an unbelievable offer comes in.

The former Manchester United defender insists he will remain 100 per cent committed to the club until something happens.

Evans said: “Obviously there’s been a bit of speculation around my future here but from my point of view it’s very simple.

“These things are often out of your control and it’s best not to think too much about it.”

Evans said in his matchday programme notes: “Until anybody tells me different, I’m committed to the Albion and I’m only thinking about getting in this team. It’s a great club and I’m proud to be captain.”
