Liverpool are battling Chelsea to sign Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

That’s according to The Mail on Sunday who say the Anfield heavyweights have stepped up their chase for the England international.

Barcelona are ready to pay Liverpool £148m for Philippe Coutinho.

Spanish news outlet Don Balon say the mammoth asking price has been set by the Reds.

It’s suggested Barca are willing to cough up the hefty fee.

However, there remains a disagreement about the structure of the deal.

Liverpool are demanding around £111m up front. They then want the remaining £37m paid in variables.

Barcelona want the up-front figure to be reduced, though.

Simon Mignolet is a target for Serie A side Napoli in the final days of the transfer window.

The Belgian has started the campaign as Jurgen Klopp's No.1 but Loris Karius was given the nod against Arsenal today.

It's claimed they have have contacted the ex-Sunderland man about a potential switch.

Former Liverpool star Pepe Reina is Napoli's current first-choice keeper, but he's wanted by French side Paris St-Germain.
