Chelsea target Grzegorz Krychowiak is expected to join West Brom

That’s according to The Sun who say West Brom have fended off a host of big hitters to secure his signature.

It’s suggested the Paris St-Germain midfielder will head to the Hawthorns on a season-long loan.

Leicester had been heavily linked with the Poland international.

Chelsea were also keeping tabs on his availability.

The Sun say Antonio Conte viewed him as an alternative to Foxes midfielder Danny Drinkwater.

Juventus, Fenerbahce and Lyon have also made enquires for Krychowiak.

However, The Sun reckon Pulis has managed to negotiate a deal as he looks to add more quality to his ranks.

Pulis lost Darren Fletcher to Stoke earlier this summer and has been keen to source a suitable replacement.

Meanwhile Chelsea are still desperate to get bodies in before Thursday’s deadline.

Drinkwater, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ross Barkley and Fernando Llorente are all potential new arrivals.

Conte also need to offload wantaway star Diego Costa.

The maverick Spaniard is widely expected to rejoin Atletico Madrid.
