Chelsea and Manchester United are eyeing Liverpool ace Emre Can.

The Germany international is out of contract at the end of the season and the 23-year-old could leave Anfield on a free transfer unless he pens a new deal.

Italian giants Juventus have been heavily linked with a move for Can in recent months.

However, Italian newspaper Tuttosport claim United and Chelsea are also in the hunt for the midfielder.

They say the Premier League big boys also face competition from Bayern Munich for Can in January or next summer.

United will make another move for Real Madrid star Gareth Bale next summer.

The Wales international was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford all summer.

Jose Mourinho publicly revealed his desire to sign the 28-year-old winger, despite calling the deal ‘mission impossible’.

And according to The Sun, the Red Devils will go back in for Bale next summer after having an enquiry snubbed in recent months.

They say Mourinho is desperate to land a world-class winger and the former Tottenham man tops his wish list.

The Sun reckon United are eyeing a £90m-plus deal to bring Bale to Old Trafford.

Real are said to be open to agreeing a deal at the end of the season, with the La Liga giants ready to put faith in Isco and Marco Asensio.

Arsenal will have more money to spend in 2018 after holding back their summer transfer budget, BBC Sport journalist David Ornstein says.

The Gunners only landed Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac, with a late move for Monaco’s Thomas Lemar falling through.

And Ornstein says Arsenal’s lack of summer spending means they have extra funds for the next two transfer windows.

He tweeted: “Towards the end of the window, Arsenal made it clear that there was no money remaining for anymore major signings.

“This was relayed to clubs and agents offering higher-end players to Arsenal and even journalists making regular enquiries.

“The explanation followed that while some money was obviously available, it was not at the level required to make top-class signings and cover their salaries.

“Bidding £92m for Lemar when £55/60m was set to come in for Sanchez suggests they had at least £30m, excluding wages, to play with.

“Apparently the leftover funds will be used to safeguard Arsenal going forward - in other words, boost the budget for the next two windows.”
