The futures of the Gunners’ star duo have been under constant speculation for some time.

Despite Arsenal tabling them improved deals, neither player has signed an extension.

And that has left the north London club facing the prospect of losing both for free at the end of the season.

Sanchez and Ozil’s deals expire next summer.

And according to The Telegraph, there is currently little prospect of either player signing.

It is said Arsenal are unlikely to make an enhanced offer too.

Sanchez and Ozil have refused to put pen to paper on improved deals worth £280,000-a-week each.

However, The Telegraph add further discussions will be held in a bid to hopefully reach an agreement.

Arsene Wenger is confident, though, that both Sanchez and Ozil will focus on a successful season with Arsenal.

And the manager apparently does not believe they will disrupt the group either.

Sanchez has featured just once this season so far - the 4-0 stuffing at Liverpool - and was nearly to sold to Manchester City for £60m on deadline day.

Despite being frustrated his move was blocked, he is set to return from international duty with Chile ready to play.

Ozil has admitted he does not know where his long-term future lies, and reports have suggested the German has not held talks with Arsenal since March.

But he should also start at home to Bournemouth on Saturday (3pm).
