The Egyptian was a doubt for the game after being sent home from training yesterday as a precaution.

But Salah has now been passed fit by Liverpool for tonight's clash with Sevilla.

Yesterday, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp confirmed the 25-year-old had been sent home from training.

He explained: "Most of them are looking really good apart from Clyney and Adam. Mo we sent him home tonight.

"He was in and the doc told me Mo Salah can train, but what would be best for him is if he doesn’t have to. He has a little bit of a sore throat.

"Shouldn’t be that serious so he can’t spread the virus if there is one.

"At this moment we expect him back tomorrow morning for normal training."

The Reds will look to gain revenge against Sevilla tonight after losing in the Europa League final to them two seasons ago.

Salah has been impressive since joining Liverpool from Roma this summer.

The winger has three goals and two assist in his six appearances for the Reds so far.

Liverpool's Champions League group also contains Maribor and Spartak Moscow.
