Mkhitaryan had a blistering start to the campaign and has set up five goals already this season.

His good form has been matched by his team-mates as they sit at the top of the table.

But the Armenian is refusing to get carried away and has promised more excitement.

And he's also determined to keep working hard and continue improving.

Mkhitaryan told magazine Armenian Soldier: "To be honest, I don't think those five assists should excite me.

"There are still many games remaining.

"I have to do my best to score more goals and provide more assists.

"I enjoy my football and want to bring more joy to the fans, too.

"You cannot rely only on talent to be successful, you have to work hard, be persistent and never look back."

Mkhitaryan has another chance to impress on Sunday, when United take on Everton at Old Trafford.
