Chris Wood: Leeds star Stuart Dallas wants to get one over former team-mate

Wood joined the Clarets for £15m in August.

He starred in the Championship last term, top-scoring as Leeds narrowly missed out on promotion.

The New Zealand star could feature against the Yorkshire giants tomorrow when Burnley host Thomas Christiansen's side in the Carabao Cup.

But Dallas is only focusing on Leeds - not Burnley's new star striker.

"There's more to life than Chris Wood," he said.

"I don't mean that in a disrespectful way."

Charlie Taylor could also play after joining Burnley from Leeds on a free transfer.

Dallas added: "Players come and go. It'll be good to come up against them. It'll give us extra motivation, and them too."

Leeds lost 1-0 at Millwall on Saturday and Dallas is keen to put that performance to bed with a good showing at Turf Moor.

He said: "We want a reaction and we know we have to give a reaction.

Leeds United news: Stuart Dallas wants a big response at Burnley

"Burnley's a chance to measure ourselves against a Premier League side.

"On the day we weren't good enough. We were lucky to come away with a 1-0 defeat. But we're ready to go again."
